Fabrika RTT received a new registration certificate from Roszdravnadzor for production of the Halcyon® system

Fabrika RTT received a new registration certificate #RZN2022/18745 issued by Roszdravnadzor for a medical device "Radiotherapy system based on Halcyon (RUS) electron linear accelerator" under technical conditions TU26.60.11-003-04161415-2021 with accessories dated 07.11.2022. The relevant document confirms that the production of the entire line of Halcyon system in Russia at Fabrika RTT was another successful step towards further localization.

"According to the new registration certificate, Fabrika RTT is now recognized as the manufacturer of the Halcyon system in the Russian Federation. In the previous edition of the registration document, our company was listed as a manufacturing facility," said Dmitry Sosnov, Deputy General Director of Fabrika RTT. - Already today our production capacity can reach up to 50 units per year, and if necessary, this capacity can be increased."

The Halcyon system is a tunnel-type device that optimizes the operation of the radiotherapy department, improves the quality of treatment, and provides patients with access to the highest level of treatment through state-of-the-art technologies, techniques and modes of irradiation.

Halcyon radiotherapy system is intended to provide stereotactic radiosurgery and precision radiotherapy for lesions, tumors, and conditions anywhere in the body when radiation treatment is indicated.

This linac meets the highest requirements for the technical equipment of radiotherapy departments and is in demand both in Russia and worldwide owing to its clinical efficiency and such advantages as compact size, throughput capacity of more than 100 patients per day, quick installation, and commissioning without compromising on quality, and accelerated training of medical staff due to a high automation of the working process.
